The Medical Assistant I performs variety of patient care, technical, and administrative duties to assist practitioners and other members of health care team in providing high quality patient care through health care system. The Medical Assistant I participates as a team member in the overall functioning of the clinic and is responsible for the flow of the patients for assigned providers (as applicable) each day. Qualifications Required Completion of a medical assistant program offered by a school accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP); or Military training or experience may also satisfy the training and experience requirement Certified Medical Assistant in the State of Washington and must be familiar with the State's conduct and standards of practice.
