This position develops policies to ensure best practices are implemented to promote patient safety. The coordinator recruits, trains, and supports Forensic Nurse Examiners (and or by providing patient care) working in the Center of Hope to ensure competencies and standard of care met. This position requires collaborative work with the Medical Director, the area Centers of Hope or Sexual Assault Treatment Centers, and with the community at large. The coordinator will participate in Center of Hope educational offerings: SANE training, clinical education, and community awareness and response to violence.
