Job Description The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Nurse supports care coordination and clinic visits for pediatric patients with a variety of bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic infections. This includes challenging conditions like MRSA, osteomyelitis, fevers, bone marrow transplants and organ transplants, HIV, and tuberculosis. S/he works autonomously, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care.
