CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (RN) -ORTHO/TRAUMA/SURGICAL

Responsibilities Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Qualifications Job Requirements: Education per RN licensure requirement, BSN preferred Two years experience in acute care specialty nursing. One year charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred. Must maintain all clinical competencies for area of supervision. Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, or compact. BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. Must maintain all proficiencies required by area of supervision. National certification in area of supervision preferred (i.e.CCRN, PCCN, etc.) Must be clinically competent in area of population served. Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel. Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate team leadership. Must have the ability to problem solve and think critically.
