Responsible for oversight of compliance with performance improvement standards associated with regulatory and accrediting bodies. Incorporates Alliance’s mission in guiding all departments in Measuring Performance through data collection, assessing current performance improvement and development of improvement processes. Systemically aggregates and analyzes data. Reviews undesired patterns or trends in performance. Ensures that analyzed information is used to make changes in improvement process and performance measures are used to determine whether changes result in desired outcomes. Also includes an education element and is responsible for the coordination, planning and direction of all facility education and training programs. Programs include but are not limited to, orientation and professional development consistent with the goals of the organization. Part time position, 24 hrs per week

A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center, or another related healthcare setting. Must have experience in supervision and principles, the practice of teaching, etc. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices is strongly preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities. Responsibilities : Develop and implement the written staffing plan that reflects the needs of the department. Performs rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and the medical team Work in partnership with the Administrator to ensure quality, person-centered care Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures by current rules and regulations Range: $120k-200k / per year INDMHC #LI-JG1
