Position Summary The Progressive Care/Step-Down RN delivers comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care for adult patients with intermediate-acuity needs. The nurse manages complex medical conditions, continuous monitoring, frequent assessments, medication titration within scope and policy, patient/family education, and interdisciplinary coordination to support safe progression of care. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and promptly escalate concerns through appropriate clinical channels. Monitor, interpret, and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, respiratory status, neurologic changes, laboratory results, and other clinical indicators.
