Summary The Education Quality Coordinator (EQC) is an experienced nurse who coordinates and participates in the provision of education and nursing quality improvement. The EQC evaluates, monitors, and improves the quality of nursing care at Rush University Medical Center. The EQC plans, implements, and evaluates educational activities to promote high standards of nursing practice throughout the Division of Nursing. The EQC reports to the Director and has accountability to the clinical Nursing Directors for department specific activities. Assistant Director of Nursing RN Skills and Abilities: Proven strong management skills, including delegating responsibility to subordinates, performance management, conflict management, and leading through others. Must have good financial and management skills. Must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule and occasional overnight travel. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Meets all health requirements, as required by law.
