Overview JOB SUMMARY The Cardiac Services Nurse Practitioner provides leadership for the Chest Pain Center and incorporates other departments and modalities to promote excellence in cardiac patient care. This position will lead the planning development and implementation of Chest Pain Center accreditation program including development of goals and ongoing operations. The role encompasses the coordination and oversight of the ongoing CQI process to improve care of the cardiac patient population. The NP will work under the supervision of the Director of Cardiovascular Services and the general supervision of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Medical Director to deliver stress testing to an age specific population including adults and geriatric patients. This includes confering directly with the ordering physician and responding to calls from staff regarding stress tests that are ordered.
