Makes necessary judgments prior to administration of certain medications based on practical knowledge of the physiological effect, current condition of the patient and awareness of proper dosage.• Record medications administered. Reports and record any reaction to medication and/or treatment.• Performs venipuncture for blood draws and intravenous (IV) access after completion of required training and demonstration of competency.
