Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date. Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed. At least 1 year of ICU, ED or telemetry RN experience, preferred. RN- Emergency Room (Per Diem, Day shift) What You'll Be Doing The Registered Nurse (RN) Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision. The ability to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the ED. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the department. Communicate with the physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. The ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Demonstrate the ability to use equipment specific to the Emergency Department. What We're Look ing For Associate Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred Current Registered Nurse New Jersey State license. BLS, ACLS and PALS. Overview Works as a member of an interdisciplinary care team at a NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Community) or Senior Living Retirement Community location and is responsible to coordinate a broad range of health and social services to help support older residents to age in their own homes.
