This includes working in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and the neighborhood staff to balance schedules and maintain staffing levels that are consistent with resident needs, including needs as defined by their Plan of Care, activity and daily schedules, outside and in-house clinic visits, and school programs. The Assistant Nurse Manager will also review and/or modify staff assignments as necessary to ensure quality resident care. In addition, the Assistant Nurse Manager will participate in the hiring, interviewing and onboarding process, as well as periodic evaluation of staff that are assigned to their floor.
