Follows medication safety policies. Initiates appropriate safety interventions promptly. Completes Safety Tracking Tools as required. Delegation & Supervision Supervises assigned staff and delegates tasks appropriately. Takes responsibility for all care provided to assigned patients. Reports performance issues of team members to ensure safe, appropriate patient care. Patient & Family Education Assesses the educational needs of patients and families. Provides appropriate verbal and written education. Documents assessments and all education provided. Provider Orders & Clinical Workflow Conducts ongoing review, initiation, and implementation of provider orders every shift. Prioritizes responsibilities based on urgency and patient needs. Uses appropriate resources, problem-solves independently, multitasks efficiently, and demonstrates effective time‑management skills. Professional Accountability & Development Seeks additional clinical experiences to enhance knowledge and competency. Actively assists coworkers and accepts additional duties or assignments. Completes required education and annual competencies in a timely manner. Participates in unit‑based councils and performance‑improvement initiatives. Identifies unit needs and collaborates to help facilitate solutions. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year as a nurse ACLS preferred at hire or within 90 days of hire EPIC preferred Credentials RN - Registered Nurse BLS - Basic Life Saving certification NIH - Stroke Certification Education RN, Graduate of an accredited nursing school Entry USD $36.20/Hr.
