The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, managing, and treating various developmental and behavioral conditions from birth through age 13 years old. The Advanced Practice Provider would see patients in the following three clinics: High Risk Infant Follow-Up Clinic (evaluating children born premature and/or with medical problems at birth for developmental assessments over the course of their first three years of life), the Young Childhood Program (assessing children birth through kindergarten for the following concerns: developmental delays, autism, ADHD, anxiety, challenges with sleeping, eating, behavior, disciple or temperament), and the Middle Childhood Program (assessing children in elementary and middle school for conditions such as ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, autism, tic disorders, and anxiety, mood or disruptive and aggressive behaviors), including medication management.
