Duties Description The Registered Nurse 1 will provide New Employee Orientation training required for over 400 employees a year, as well as necessary trainings for seasoned staff. The classes instructed by the Registered Nurse include Basic Life Support, CPR, Maintaining Good Health and nutritional topics. In addition, the Registered Nurse plans, coordinates and conducts the Approved Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP) training necessary for new employees and seasoned staff to administer medications to individuals. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for In-service Training for newly hired RNs and LPNs. The Registered Nurse 1 shall conduct additional training sessions and duties as assigned. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Instruct Medication Administration classes for all new employees as well as returning employees as needed. Provide Maintaining Good Health training to new employees. Provide Medication Remediation for employees. Provide training around the Medication Policy & Transcription procedures.
