The Frederick Health Hospital Emergency Department is a fast-paced 60 bed adult unit with 9 crisis beds where more than 70,000 patients seek care each year, making it one of the busiest emergency departments in the state. We care for adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions. Our certified Stroke Center includes a dedicated team who provide rapid diagnosis and innovative stroke care. We also house a certified Cardiac Center providing rapid chest pain evaluation and coordinated care with our inpatient Cath Lab. Job Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) functions within the Scope of Practice outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing. Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
