Overview: Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services. The Admit Recovery Unit is a supportive, collaborative team that provides superior patient care, in a highly skilled, fast paced environment. The ARU team is responsible for pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery of invasive cardiology patients, receiving clinically advanced, lifesaving Cardiac Cath, interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology procedures. ARU is open Monday-Friday from 6-8:30pm and the team works 3×12-hour shifts. There are no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call hours.
