The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with Dr. Md Shajjad Hossain and the broader multidisciplinary team, with progressive autonomy as clinical knowledge and experience within endocrinology develop. About the Role The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive care to patients with a variety of endocrine conditions, with a significant focus on diabetes management and longitudinal follow-up. The position offers the opportunity to build specialized endocrine expertise while working collaboratively with experienced physicians and APPs. The NP will initially work closely with the physician team on more complex cases while progressively developing greater independence with routine endocrine follow-up care. The practice averages approximately 25–30 patient visits per day. Collaborating Physician – Dr. Md Shajjad Hossain The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with Dr. Md Shajjad Hossain, who will serve as the collaborating physician for this position. Dr. Hossain is committed to developing an APP who is interested in building expertise in endocrinology. The ideal candidate will be comfortable asking questions, receptive to feedback, and interested in progressively expanding their clinical knowledge and independence. This opportunity may be particularly well suited for a new graduate or NP transitioning from primary care, internal medicine, hospital medicine, or diabetes care who is looking to develop a career within endocrinology.
