Do radiological films, as requested by provider, and ensure that certification requirements are maintained. Perform venipuncture and complete lab paperwork for reference lab; complete any other documentation. Observe, record, and report patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physician. Ensure all abnormal results are seen by physicians and notify patient/family of abnormal results, as authorized by physician; monitor abnormal results to ensure that patients are appropriately followed. Case Management Coordinate services for patients and families as identified by PCP Conduct ongoing assessments and follow-up of patient referred out to specialist. Create, review and revise Plan of Care plans for special needs patients Quality Control Ensure adequate control of patient charts, including to perform quality control and quality assurance activities as mandated by the managed care insurance companies. Job Description Purpose & Scope: Across all levels, the registered professional nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of their assigned patients. The RN is also responsible for the supervision of assigned personnel. The position requires knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative associations, along with management and supervisory skills are inherent in the position. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The primary method to express or exchange ideas is through the spoken word. Written, telephone, and manual dexterity skills are required for this position. Position Title Medical Assistant - OB/GYN Arlington Job Description Purpose & Scope: The Medical Assistant ensures the clinical environment is cleaned, stocked, and ready for patient care. Performs phlebotomy, prepares specimens for transport to labs, performs simple laboratory procedures, takes vital signs, prepares patients for procedures, and assists with patient flow. Provides general clinical support to physicians and other staff, Answers phones, makes appointments, collects co-pays and payment, assists with billing, and adds information to the electronic medical record.
