Implements nursing care interventions identified in the individualized multidisciplinary treatment plan using accepted standards of practice in collaboration with other health care providers; performs nursing procedures/treatments as prescribed by physician/LIP. Conducts specified bedside laboratory tests, wound care, and provides for comfort and assistance in the performance of ADLs; Promotes the patient's ability to cope, adapt and/or solve situations related to illness and/or stressors. Provides supportive, age appropriate communication and culturally acceptable interventions and documents special needs. Provides for the safe delivery of medications in accordance with the facility policies and physician orders; administers medications utilizing established safety procedures / standards. Ensures patients are effectively assessed prior to and after medication administration. Accurately communicates/documents medication doses prescribed, and provides patient education on medication administered. Follows up on patient care responsibilities; communicates incomplete assignments and patient needs with other disciplines to assure continuity of care; transcribes orders accurately and performs chart audits of transcription accurately and according to facility guidelines. Utilizes nursing knowledge to successfully meet the needs of the facility, patient population and staff members. Utilizes nursing resources to enhance evidence-based practice. Job Summary Enliven is seeking an experienced RN (Registered Nurse) to service home infusion and Infusion Center patients in Pasadena and surrounding locations. The ideal candidate must be well-trained and able to give the best nursing care possible with little supervision. They will educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits. What you will do in this role: · The Cardiac Services Technician provides technical services, assists in the Hybrid Room and Operating Room while providing care for the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations. · The Cardiac Services Technician works collaboratively to complete all Cardiac Surgical Technologist assignments. · Works under the direct supervision of the assigned clinician for the case, and the Director, to facilitate safe invasive and non-invasive procedures. · Performs advanced tasks routinely in support of the surgical team. · Arranges sterile setup for surgical procedures, pass instruments, as well as, sponge and sutures to surgeons and surgical assistants. · Prepares sterile supplies, assist in cleanup of the operating room, checks placement and the operation of equipment, and checks and restocks the operating room after each procedure. What qualifications you will need: · 2-3 years of experience in a surgery/CV/cardiac hospital setting. · Lead CST experience is highly preferred. · Formal training from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician Program. · Current Certified Surgical Tech Certification required. · American Red Cross or American Heart Association (BLS OR BCLS) Course Completion and Certification required.
