Work Schedule: 3 days a week (self scheduling) Shift: 12 hour shifts (7am to 7 pm) PRIMARY PURPOSE The RN is a licensed professional who uses the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery, that focuses on a particular patient population(s)/specific health condition, by the health care team. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Experience Must have a minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience. Consults with other team members as required, notifies providers to report changes in patient condition and implements orders in a timely manner. Educates patients and families on rules and regulations and updates procedure manuals. Responsible for a collaborative work team to ensure positive working relationships. Communicates effectively with physicians, students, and other departments such as Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Property and Linen Services. What does the Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) do? Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
