Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float Pool (0.9FTE, Nights) In this role you will float to CICU, PICU and NICU. As an integral member of the Health Care Team, the RN functions within the Scope of Practice as defined by the State, the ANA Scope and Standards for Pediatric Nursing Practice, and adheres to Seattle Children's policies/procedures and guidelines of care. This is a full time fixed duration appointment (up to 6 months). About This Opportunity Under the direction of the clinic's Registered Nurse 3 and Department Administrative Director, the Registered Nurse 2 will provide care and coordination of services through assessment, diagnosis, planning and implementation and evaluation of safe, therapeutic care, in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) flagship clinic the Northwest Center for Oral and Facial Surgery at our Sandpoint clinic location. Candidate must have strong IV skills, and excellent multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced clinic. This position is tasked with ensuring the health and safety of OMS patients throughout the clinic space and assisting with enhancing the overall effectiveness of faculty, residents, dental students, staff, operations, and administration. The RN2 will be an active contributor in strategy meetings with the department leadership, the School of Dentistry Dean's Office, interdepartmental groups, facilities, vendors, and external entities that have associations with OMS. CALIFORNIA REGULATION : Must be a CNA in good standing AND must have a current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in good standing in the State of California.
