The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will play a key role in the development of an Oral Immunotherapy (OIT) program in Wilmington, DE. A majority of clinical time will be dedicated towards oral immunotherapy treatment. Additionally, they will be delivering outpatient care for pediatric patients requiring diagnosis, evaluation, and management of other Allergy/Immunology concerns. Essential Functions Practices collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers to provide high quality health care to children. Performs appropriate assessment of patient/family upon referral/admission. Performs ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress and revision of interdisciplinary plan of care. May use prescriptive authority if appropriately credentialed to do so. Collaborates inter-professionally as needed. Identifies patient/family need for further resources and initiates appropriate referrals.
