How you make a difference The Certified Medication Technician is responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role ensures compliance with medication protocols and participates in audits and performance improvement activities. The technician documents medication administration and patient observations accurately while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality standards. They assist in training new staff, attend team meetings, and support overall clinical operations. Additional duties include equipment handling, supply management, and floating to various patient care areas as needed. Overview The Director, Nursing Services is accountable for the overall administration of the department in order to meet the objectives of the hospital through planning, organizing, executing and evaluating the nursing care provided for patients in the hospital. Responsibilities Manage the department in an efficient manner by planning, organizing and controlling all activities of the department. Formulate and implement the objectives of the department in accordance with hospital goals. Overview The Clinical Nurse Manger (CNM) is a direct supervisory leadership role and a key member of the Nursing leadership team. Overview The Graduate Nurse collaboratively assists as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care. The Graduate Nurse systematically and continuously assists in the collection and assessment of data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care or critical pathway. Training for all personnel assigned to the Emergency Room shall consist of the following: 1.State and federal regulations related to emergency services. 2.Nursing management of trauma. 3.Nursing management of cardiac related disorders. 4.Performance of EKG procedures, EKG interpretation, and appropriate nursing intervention. 5.Pharmacological intervention (IV therapy). 6.Patient assessment (triage). 7.Nursing management of pediatric emergencies. 8.Medicolegal aspects, particularly related to proper documentation. 9.Nursing management of obstetrical emergencies. 10.Patient/family emotional response. 11.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and airway management. Qualifications Associate's Degree Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred Up to 1 year Preferred Minimum of one (1) year acute care nursing experience (1) year of experience should be relevant to specific department in which they will be working. Refer to addendums for additional requirements. Experience with Electronic Health Record Preferred. Preferred Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with providers at all levels essential.
