Summary Under the guidance and direction of the unit director, the Assistant Unit Director RN (AUD) is the clinical liaison and assistant business manager of a specific patient care unit(s). The Assistant Unit Director Registered Nurse implements initiatives in support of the unit vision and manages human, operational and organizational systems that support patient care. Duties that you will learn through our program and at the nursing facility are: Turning & moving patients. Proper usage of medical supplies. Assisting patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, feeding, etc.) Checking vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, heart rate, etc.) Assist with other needs of patients This Position requires the following: Excellent patient care and customer service skills Must enjoy working with seniors. Must have an excellent work ethic. Must be able to work in collaboration with the nursing team. Must have a solid work history.
