Perform routine clinical screenings and preventive assessments, including blood pressure, pulse oximetry, BMI, vision screening, and other age-appropriate screenings. Obtain and review patient consents and ensure required documentation is complete and accurate. Coordinate patient care through referrals, appointment scheduling, orders, laboratory services, and follow-up activities. Collect, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with proper handling and transport procedures. Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications, immunizations, and treatments and promptly report concerns to the provider. Support preventive health and wellness initiatives, including immunization review and patient education. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and emergency preparedness materials in accordance with safety and infection control standards. Support efficient patient flow and front- and back-office operations, including discharge, phone calls, scheduling, and referrals. Participate in quality improvement, productivity, compliance, and documentation initiatives and maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations. Contribute to a collaborative team environment, assist with staff training and onboarding, and demonstrate flexibility in supporting clinical functions and departmental needs.
