About this Job: MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN Previous OR experience required Join the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, home to one of the nation's top cardiac programs. This specialized team cares for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular, vascular, and thoracic procedures, providing an exciting opportunity to build advanced perioperative skills in a high-acuity environment. Our nurses work alongside experienced cardiovascular and vascular surgeons, caring for patients undergoing open heart surgery, vascular procedures, catheter-based valve procedures, thoracic surgeries, and more. Previous OR experience is required , and nurses in this role will scrub and circulate a variety of cardiovascular cases while working as part of a highly collaborative surgical team. This position offers a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday , with on-call and holiday call responsibilities.
