Job Description The perioperative registered nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room for all patient populations. This position is expected to maintain all state and federal licensure and clearances for PA, DE, and NJ for periodic rotation to the facilities in Delaware and New Jersey at the discretion of Perioperative Leadership. This includes active registered nurse (RN) licensure in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey, and current Pennsylvania (PA) FBI Fingerprint Report, PA Criminal Background Record, and PA Child Abuse Clearance. This position requires working shifts aligned with the needs of the department and the assigned FTE of the RN. Performs interventions to protect the patient from surgical site infection. Evaluates patient progress toward attaining outcomes.
