DEFINITION: Implement and assist with nursing care for patients under supervision of Registered Nurse. Provides care to a population including infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Functions within the scope of practice as defined by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Authorized to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, school attendance record and performance record may be considered. #ZR DEFINITION: Develop and implement total nursing care for patients by assessment, nursing diagnosis, patient care plans, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Develop systems to provide care to a population including infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Authorized to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma. Current Basic Life Support. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: BSN. DEFINITION: Utilizing the nurse process, the health center nurse is accountable for delivery of patient care in the health center during office hours. The health center nurse is responsible for: meeting the established Standards of Nurse Care, managing any assigned personnel and promoting collaboration among the disciplines. The health center nurse is accountable to the Health Center Medical Director, Executive Director, patient and family for all nursing behavior. Patient population includes: all age groups to include children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. EDUCATION: Completion of a Medical Assistant program. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Must provide a transcript or diploma of completion of a medical assistant program. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: One to two years nursing experience in a physician’s office, preferably primary care. DEFINITION: The LPN is accountable for delivery of patient care in the clinic during office hours. The LPN is responsible for: practicing within the LPN scope of practice managing any assigned personnel and promoting collaboration among the disciplines. The LPN is accountable to the Physician Supervisor, Department Director, patient and family for all nursing behavior. Patient population includes: all age groups to include children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Authorized to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: One to two years physicians office nursing experience, preferably primary care. #ZR
