Responsibilities What You’ll Do Psychiatric Assessment & Diagnosis Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and families. Diagnose mental health conditions using DSM-5 criteria . Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans . Medication Management Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications . Conduct follow-ups to assess effectiveness, side effects, and progress . Educate clients and families on medication use and adherence . Therapeutic Services Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy . Utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches . Support clients in building coping strategies and emotional regulation skills . Collaboration & Team-Based Care Work closely with clinicians, social workers, case managers, and other providers . Participate in treatment planning meetings and case consultations . Provide guidance to staff on psychiatric and medication-related concerns . Crisis Intervention & Support Conduct risk assessments and safety planning for high-risk clients. Provide psychiatric support during crisis situations . Collaborate with families to develop crisis management strategies . Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation . Ensure compliance with DPH regulations, agency policies, and billing standards . Stay current with state and federal guidelines . Education & Leadership Provide training and consultation to staff on psychiatric topics and best practices . Support professional development within the clinical team. Engage in community outreach and represent the organization as needed. Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing (required) Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) DEA Registration CANS Certification 5–10 years of related clinical experience Valid driver’s license (Class C or D)

Responsibilities Healthcare & Emergency Care: Provide direct healthcare and emergency care for people supported by Seven Hills Rhode Island, ensuring their health needs are met at home and in the community. Health Assessments: Complete initial and annual health assessments for participants, ensuring up-to-date care plans tailored to their specific needs. Health Education: Educate participants and staff about health maintenance, medication administration, and specialized procedures. Documentation & Records: Maintain confidential health records in accordance with regulations, ensuring all documentation is timely and accurate in the electronic health record system. Medication & Treatment: Train non-nursing personnel on proper medication and treatment administration, and oversee their compliance. Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work with a team of healthcare professionals, families, and agencies (e.g., BHDDH) to ensure continuous care and support. On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in the Nurse on-call system to provide 24-hour telephonic coverage on a rotating schedule. Training & Support: Assist in the training and support of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other team members on healthcare needs, procedures, and safety protocols. Medical Appointments: Provide transportation to medical appointments, if necessary, and assist with scheduling and follow-up care. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with the Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals (BHDDH) standards and regulations. Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current license in Rhode Island. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. 1-3 years of experience in nursing, particularly with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, preferred. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Skills: Clinical Competence: Ability to provide basic medical care and emergency interventions with professionalism and expertise. Teamwork: Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team to meet the healthcare needs of participants.
