Responsibilities of a RN: · Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for supervision of care given to residents by Licensed Practical Nurse, CNA, and other members of the team. · Registered Nurse (RN) develops resident's daily assignment sheets and makes changes as indicated based on staffing patterns and resident acuity. · Registered Nurse (RN) evaluates resident's response to medication and treatment. · Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring administration of medication, treatments, and evaluating resident’s response to medication and treatment. Qualifications of a RN: ü Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing ü Licensed in the State of New York as a Registered Nurse (RN) ü CPR/BLS certification Details: The job of the Home Aide is to assist the elderly with their daily needs whether its personal care or companion,(depending on the assigned care tasks and certification). Each client has a care/task plan in the home that itemizes the needs and interventions for that particular client. The clients are mainly elderly or disabled adults. The Home Care interventions range from preparing meals, daily showers, taking walks outside, laundry, light Housework, and other personal care interventions. The candidate must have the Ability to speak, write & communicate in English. The Aide is required to be punctual and be on time as scheduled. A Medical Physical,(done within the last 12 months) is needed, and the titers,(MMR & Chicken Pox lab results). also PPD test. A NYS Aide certificate or 2 years experience for other positions.

Job Responsibility Manages and leads team members, operations and patient care activities within a patient care unit during assigned shift. Collaborates with team members and nursing management in the development of methods, techniques and analytical approach to patient care. Communicates, builds consensus, and guides team members toward achieving department objectives. Promotes and maintains high quality patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Creates a professional work environment that encourages team member respect, engagement, accountability and optimal patient outcomes.
