Job Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains competencies on Mother/Baby, GYN, Pedi and basic Med-Surg. Maintains competencies in either L&D or ‘sick baby’ management (L&D track and/or Nursery track). Once training and competencies are completed in the RN’s designated ‘track’, and the Clinical Director and Clinical Resource Nurse deem appropriate, the RN may train to the other track if desired—both sets of competencies must be maintained. Summary Under the direction of the Administrative Director, Cardiovascular Services, the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and the Cath Lab Nurse Manager, the Cath Lab RN will perform duties necessary to care for patients, ages 18 years and up, undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures at a technical and professional nursing level. The RN will provide pre, intra and post procedural care. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment.
