Are you living your life's work? Summary: The HUP Rhoads 7 urology/colorectal surgical unit is looking for a new grad RN to join the team! The schedule rotates every 4 weeks between day shift (7a-7p) and night shift (7p-7a) and includes an every third weekend requirement. Rhoads 7 is primarily a post-surgical care unit comprised of 19 patient beds. While we primarily care for specialty patient populations such as Urology and Colorectal Surgery, it is not uncommon for us to see a broad array of medical, surgical, and progressive care level patients. Primarily a medical cardiology unit, we care for patients before durable VAD implantation, before organ transplant, and during any recurrent admissions, separate from the postoperative care area for invasive cardiothoracic/vascular surgery. Additionally, we provide care for patients undergoing pre- and post-cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and other minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
