Job Summary The Nurse Manager is a professional nurse leader with 24-hour accountability for the operational, clinical, quality, financial, and people outcomes of one or more patient care units. Minimum of 2 years of leadership, charge nurse, supervisor, assistant nurse manager, or equivalent experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, staff development, and operational management preferred. Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Rhode Island. Specialty certification in relevant clinical area required within two years of hire or appointment. Nurse Executive Certification (NE-BC, NEA-BC) preferred. BLS credential required; additional certifications or credentials as appropriate for clinical area. Ability to move throughout patient care and administrative areas. Ability to use computer systems for extended periods. Ability to respond effectively during emergency situations. Manual dexterity and mobility required. While performing the major responsibilities of this position, the incumbent must be able to regularly sit, stand or walk, and occasionally reach for prolonged periods of time. Summary This Psychiatric Registered Nurse position is located at Bradley Hospital in Riverside, RI on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit. This day position is full-time at 36 hours per week.
