In this specialized role, you'll provide life-saving care to patients with end-stage renal disease across multiple clinics in the area. This position requires prior dialysis experience to ensure seamless integration into our clinical teams and high-quality continuity of care for our patients. Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care in various outpatient dialysis settings within the local float pool. Monitor patients, manage complex treatment plans, and respond to acute health changes. Collaborate with diverse clinical teams, including Patient Care Technicians, across different locations. Educate patients and families on kidney health and treatment options. Travel to nearby clinics is required; mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between clinic locations. Administer specialized neurological therapies and complex medication regimens, including antiepileptic, thrombolytic, and neuroprotective treatments. Support coordination of imaging, EEG, surgical procedures, and interventions critical to stroke, neurology, and epilepsy care pathways. Critical Interventions Respond to neurological emergencies including seizures, status epilepticus, stroke alerts, and post-operative complications.
