Qualifications Skilled Nurse from an Accredited program currently licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. One to 2 years’ experience in nursing in an acute care setting or 1-year experience in home health, hospice or comparable experience is preferred. Responsibilities It is the responsibility of the Visit Nurse to coordinate and provide the highest level of hospice care to patients and families. III. Orientation and Training Care Comfort Hospice will provide orientation and training, as necessary, to assist the Hospice Nurse in performing the responsibilities listed above. Training may be in-house or outside seminars. Evidence of orientation and training will become part of the personnel file. IV. On Call The Hospice Nurse will be on call according to scheduling.
