Qualifications Required: Possesses all of the requirements for either a Paramedic OR Registered Nurse (RN) as listed below. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program. Qualifications Required: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio. Meets 1 of the following: 4 years of recent active RN experience in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine. Of those 4 years, 4000 hours in critical care (ICU or ED) with a minimum of one year in an ICU. 2 years of active Paramedic experience and 3 years of active RN experience in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine, with 4000 hours in critical care (ICU or ED) with a minimum of one year in an ICU.
