Perform thorough nursing assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations. Accurately document medication administration and nursing assessments, adhering to service line standards. Participates in educational and inservice meeting to update knowledge of techniques, guidelines and regulations. Must attend all mandatory programs. Meets basic requirement for 12 hours of continuing education per year. 9. Uses equipment in an appropriate and safe manner. Adheres to standards of the Diligent Minimal Lift Program. 10. Follows facility policies and procedures. 11. P erforms other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or GED preferred Experience: 6 months – 1 year experience as a CNA preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: State of Connecticut CNA Certification; or within 120 days of CNA Certification course completion.
