Safety of Residents: Make sure, if restraint is used, that it was indicated on assignment and the proper type is applied. Restraints are checked at the beginning and end of each shift. Supervises ambulation of resident when needed. Proper attention is given that side rails are up on bed when needed. Completes dining room duty as posted by charge nurse. Is alert for spills on floor. Answers call bells as soon as possible. Makes rounds frequently. Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited program in nursing Two (2) years of successful leadership experience required. Registered Nurse (RN) with NJ Board of Nursing PVMC accepts resuscitation skills certification issued by the American/Heart Association (AHA) and AHA – AHA-authorized training centers.
