Responsibilities Essential Functions • Endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting GSV, open vein harvest, GSV and LSV, radial artery harvest, open and endoscopically, open femoral artery/vein cannulation for bypass. • Invasive monitoring and placement of arterial and central venous lines, insertion and removal of thoracostomy tubes, insertion of central lines, including Swan-Ganz catheters, TLC, insertion and removal of IABP, removal of temporary pacer wires, insertion of arterial lines, NG/OG tube insertion, insertion of foley catheters, 1st assistant techniques. • Assesses patient health status including state of wellness, compliance with care plan and determines appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
