Annual Salary Range: $40-45/hour based on experience + bonus eligible What You’ll Own Patient Evaluation & Consultation • Conduct thorough patient evaluations prior to every treatment — reviewing medical history, understanding desired results, identifying contraindications, and building a clear, personalized treatment plan. • Perform comprehensive consultations that address each patient’s aesthetic concerns, goals, and overall well-being — with warmth, clarity, and clinical precision. • Explain treatment options, anticipated aesthetic results, risks, and benefits in language patients can understand and act on. • Confidently and competently complete comprehensive treatment plans from consultation through follow-up. • Assist patients in scheduling appointments and coordinating multi-step treatments across their plan. Aesthetic Services & Technical Delivery • Perform the full range of NakedMD aesthetic services including neurotoxins, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, biostimulators, micro-needling, and medical-grade chemical peels. • Prepare injectables and treatment trays for each appointment with accuracy and adherence to sterile protocol. • Stay current on the latest aesthetic treatments, products, techniques, and industry trends — bringing up-to-date knowledge into every patient interaction. • Acknowledge and remedy clinical mistakes openly and seek continuous advancement of your skills and industry understanding — growth is a non-negotiable part of this role. Patient Safety & Infection Control • Prioritize patient safety above all else: inspect the injection room before every shift and take immediate action to maintain excellent hygiene and a sterile environment. • Decontaminate equipment, sanitize surfaces, and prepare the injection room to NakedMD’s standards before, between, and after treatments. • Follow all NakedMD protocols for contraindication screening, sterile technique, and post-treatment care — with no exceptions. • Flag any adverse reactions, complications, or protocol deviations to the Clinical Manager immediately. Documentation & Compliance • Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation for every patient — including detailed charting, before-and-after photos, and treatment records. • Honor and respect the diversity of patients and their individual rights to care in every interaction and clinical decision. • Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels as needed, flagging supply concerns to the Clinical Manager. Patient Relationships & Revenue • Achieve individual sales targets through consultative selling — recommending treatments and retail products that genuinely serve the patient’s goals. • Build a loyal book of business through consistent results, proactive follow-up, and genuine investment in each patient’s long-term outcomes. • Communicate treatment options, pricing, and product recommendations clearly and confidently — you’re an educator as much as a clinician. What You Bring • Credentials: Active NP license required. • Experience: 1+ years of hands-on aesthetic injecting experience preferred; strong clinical foundations considered for motivated new-to-aesthetics applicants. • Technical Skills: Foundational proficiency in neurotoxins and HA fillers required; micro-needling and chemical peel experience a plus. • Patient Focus: You listen before you inject. Job Description Job Summary Utilizing clinical knowledge and experience, responsible for review of documentation to ensure medical necessity and appropriate level of care utilizing MCG/InterQual, state/federal guidelines, billing and coding regulations, and Molina policies; validates the medical record and claim submitted support correct coding to ensure appropriate reimbursement to providers. Job Duties • Facilitates medical review of prospective, retrospective, and concurrent review of appeals for denied prior authorizations. Includes standard and expedited cases, inpatient, outpatient, and pharmaceutical authorization appeals. • Facilitates clinical/medical reviews of retrospective medical claim reviews, medical claims and previously denied cases in which an appeal has been made, or is likely to be made, to ensure medical necessity and appropriate/accurate billing and claims processing. • Reevaluates medical claims and associated records by applying advanced clinical knowledge, knowledge of relevant and applicable state and federal regulatory requirements and guidelines, knowledge of Molina policies and procedures, and individual judgment and experience to assess the appropriateness of services provided, length of stay, level of care, and inpatient readmissions. • Validates member medical records and claims submitted/correct coding, to ensure appropriate reimbursement to providers. • Resolves escalated complaints regarding utilization management and long-term services and supports (LTSS) issues. • Identifies and reports quality of care issues. • Assists with complex claim review including diagnosis-related group (DRG) validation, itemized bill review, appropriate level of care, inpatient readmission, and any opportunities identified by the payment integrity analytical team; makes decisions and recommendations pertinent to clinical experience. • Prepares and presents cases representing Molina, along with the chief medical officer (CMO), for administrative law judge pre-hearings, state insurance commissions, and judicial fair hearings. • Reviews medically appropriate clinical guidelines and other appropriate criteria with medical directors on denial decisions. • Supplies criteria supporting all recommendations for denial or modification of payment decisions. • Serves as a clinical resource for utilization management, CMOs, physicians and member/provider inquiries/appeals. • Provides training and support to clinical peers. • Identifies and refers members with special needs to the appropriate Molina program per applicable policies/protocols. The Registered Nurse assumes primary leadership accountability and responsibility for milieu management and directing patient care activities of other nursing staff. The Registered Nurse maintains standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with facility policy and procedures, other external governing and credentialing bodies, performance improvement standards, and psychiatric nursing standards. The Registered Nurse assesses the patient utilizing the nursing process to formulate an individualized plan of care for each patient, implements interventions, and evaluates outcomes consistent with policy and appropriate to the current client’s condition, which promote, maintain, and restore physical and mental health, and prevent illness. The Registered Nurse interprets age/disability specific information in response to client population served. The Registered Nurse provides for the safe delivery of medication in accordance with the policies and procedures, physicians orders and/or current practice. The Registered Nurse is responsible for thorough, accurate reporting, and documentation of the patient’s symptoms, responses, and progress. The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for professional development, continuing education and maintaining licensure. Administers medications as prescribed safely; provides education on prescribed medications; recognizes signs and symptoms of adverse drug reactions. Reviews, revises, and updates medical records within facility guidelines and timeframes. Follows up on client care responsibilities, communicates incomplete assignments, and current client needs to staff to assure continuity of care.
