Under general supervision, provides direct patient care to assigned psychiatric and/or Emergency Department (Adult and Pediatric) patients. Provides supervision to G.N.A's and all subordinate staff which includes checking their work to ascertain that assignments have been completed. 3. Contribute to the performance evaluation of nursing personnel assigned to the unit with Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager. 4. Work with Nurse Manager to determine your shift's staffing requirements, and making recommendations to the Nurse Manager concerning employee dismissals, transfers, hires, etc. 5. Report problem areas to the Nurse Manager. Assist in developing and implementing corrective action. 6. Assists in developing comprehensive care plans. 12. Completes medical records documenting care provided and other information in accordance with nursing policies while maintaining strict confidentiality. 13. Follow established safety precautions when preforming tasks and using equipment and supplies. 14. Reports all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to appropriate persons. 15. Answer and respond to call lights promptly and courteously. 17. Assist with new admissions, re-admissions and assist with the transfer of Residents to different rooms within the facility. 18.
