Overview JOB SUMMARY The Cardiac Services Nurse Practitioner provides leadership for the Chest Pain Center and incorporates other departments and modalities to promote excellence in cardiac patient care. This position will lead the planning development and implementation of Chest Pain Center accreditation program including development of goals and ongoing operations. The role encompasses the coordination and oversight of the ongoing CQI process to improve care of the cardiac patient population. This includes confering directly with the ordering physician and responding to calls from staff regarding stress tests that are ordered.
