Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Home Health/Hospice Nurse I (RN) role provides direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act to assigned patients. The nurse collaborates with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely and appropriate quality patient care. In the absence of the Administrator, The Director of Nursing will assume the responsibility for the center's operations. This position will conduct the nursing process – assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation – under the scope of the State’s Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure. Principal Responsibilities Assumes ultimate responsibility for coordinating plans for the total care of each resident which comply with physician’s orders, governmental regulations and facility resident care policies. Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff, and monitors staff practices and implementation. Participates in all admissions decisions, and may visit prospective residents before admissions. Participates in daily and weekly management team meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or resident complaints or concerns. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or assigned at any time with or without notice. Qualifications Currently licensed as RN in the state practiced. Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required. Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Hiring NOC shift POSITION SUMMARY This position is for those that already hold a CNA license. The purpose of your job position is to provide each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with the residents assessment plan, with current federal, state and local standards and regulations that govern the facility, and as directed by your supervisors. Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Supervisor provides operational and clinical supervision for a work area or unit. Responsible for front-line supervision of staff while on the unit. Collaborates with the Manager to implement plans addressing performance improvement, quality improvement, advancement of care delivery, and customer/staff satisfaction. Serves as a work area leader and develops systems to ensure efficient workflow and collaborative relationships with physicians and other members of the interprofessional team. Maintains open communication with manager regarding patients, family, personnel and departmental issues. The Emergency Department is a 46-bed tertiary care facility with an annual volume of nearly 100,000 visits, a dedicated fast track area and two trauma bays. The patient population ranges from neonates to adolescents, and a large number of these patients have high acuity and complex medical conditions. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in pediatrics preferred. Expert clinical knowledge of unit’s patient population. Ability to lead others. Good organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both verbally and in writing. Education/Licensure/Certification: Baccalaureate degree and California licensure in respective discipline required. For nursing: California RN License, Current American Heart Association BLS and PALS Card. National Certification Required. Schedule: 4 shifts per week / 10hr shifts. Work hours and work days will vary plus variable weekend on call requirements.
