Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing specialty care services, including assessing and managing patients in the clinic following established standards and practices. Collaborate with physicians to ensure the highest quality of care for their patients. Physicians may delegate to Nurse Practitioners those medical duties that are within the physician‘s scope of practice and the NP’s training, and that are allowed by law. Provides complete physical assessment including health history, periodic health assessments, health education and counseling to new and follow-up patients as deemed appropriate by the medical leadership of the group. Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying patient care issues, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing physician directives. Updating records as needed. Other duties as assigned. Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $123,368.96 - $185,053.44 per year. Workdays: This role is primarily located at Legacy Emanuel Medical Office Building 2. Coverage is required for our two additional Urology Clinics located in Gresham and Tualatin. Typical hours are 32 hours a week, Monday-Friday, four 8-hour shifts with a day off: TBD (8:00 am – 5:00 pm). Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including: Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and current Oregon license. Minimum of two (2) years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting is required. Previous specialty care experience in Urology is a plus! Minimum of two (2) years of nurse practitioner experience preferred. Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus! Strong knowledge of urologic procedures, treatments and terminology. Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask. The Knight Cancer Institute Center for Hematologic Malignancies (CHM) outpatient clinic provides care for multiple different types of hematologic malignancies including Lymphomas, Leukemias and Multiple Myeloma. We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider who will provide clinical management of adult ambulatory patients with multiple myeloma to join our dedicated Myeloma Program. Function/Duties of Position Position Summary OHSU classification: Clinical Associate APP , represented by the Oregon Nurses Association & Advance Practice United, subject to the active collective bargaining agreement. This Clinical Associate-APP provides care in conjunction with a team comprised of physicians, APPs, RN coordinators, and other allied health professionals. APPs may practice both independently or in a shared-care model with physicians, as determined by the needs of the team. Additionally, this APP will perform procedures and may intermittently provide oversight to the infusion unit. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and demonstrate clinical knowledge and oncologic experience to support a complex patient population. The Clinical Associate-APP delivers care aligned with a defined scope of practice in Outpatient Adult Medical Oncology , with work expectations operationalized through departmental workflows, productivity standards, and performance expectations consistent with the collective bargaining agreement and institutional policies. This role is structured to meet contract-defined work expectations, inclusive of daytime coverage, aligned with the clinical coverage model and patient care needs of the service.
