The TIMC unit cares for patients with DKA/HHS without hemodynamic instability or coma, transplant patients excluding that meet ICU level of care, patients with hypothermia requiring Bair hugger without evidence of hemodynamic instability and any hemodynamically stable patient requiring frequent neurologic, pulmonary, or cardiac monitoring above floor capabilities.
