Overview Advanced Practice Provider, under the direction of the Attending Physician, will assist in providing medical and/or surgical care of the department patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. S/he assists the supervising provider in the management of patients, performing evaluations, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Overview Under general supervision of the provider, the Medical Assistant (MA) Certified works with members of the departmental health care team to provide assistance to providers, patients, and their families ensuring smooth work and patient flow.
