Job Requirements This is a Spine & Neurovascular Acute Floor focusing on many neurological disorders under four services: Neurosurgery, Ortho Spine Surgery, General Neurology, and Stroke Neurology. Some of these diagnoses may be ischemic stroke, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders, cervical fusions, lumber fusions, etc. Staffing mix on this floor include the Registered Nurse, Patient Care Technician, and Charge RN all working 12 hours shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a). Nursing team works collaboratively with other services to safely get patients to a safe disposition of home or rehab. Patients on this floor range from being medically ready to be discharged or acutely ill and requiring a longer hospital stay.
