Oversee the nightly operations of our Pulmonary Stepdown Unit , ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and caring to our patients. Partner closely with Patient Care Director, who will help mentor and guide you in your new leadership role. Establish short- and long-term goals for the unit, manage and evaluate staff, lead nightly huddles, support clinical decision-making and work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate services. Regularly assess unit operations (including patient flow and throughput) to identify room for improvement. Lead initiatives focused on enhancing quality and performance throughout the unit.
