Position Overview The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. Essential Job Functions Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally/specialty appropriate nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients/families Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times Adhere to required infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques in the delivery of patient care Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures Assemble equipment and supplies for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; perform or assist others with procedures or treatments Handle care in accordance with legal, hospital/facility, departmental policies and procedures, and established standards of nursing care and practice, as defined by the Board of Nursing for that State. Other Job Functions Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned and document Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required Perform additional duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN, preferred Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years combination experience in related healthcare positions, required Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred (ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted for PALS certification) Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication Pennsylvania RN's: Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance), Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.

The Opportunity The Caregiver position provides support for our community’s residents with the essential day-to-day tasks they can no longer perform or need help with. Caregivers are responsible for helping people with their daily tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, bathing, dressing, and taking their medication. Successful Caregivers are sensitive, respectful and are passionate about helping those in need. What You’ll Do Helping with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing Supporting residents with medication Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the community Toileting, incontinent care Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulse Observe and report on residents’ health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively Detail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, at end of shift Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones Assist residents with mobility by helping them get in and out of bed, chairs, or wheelchairs. Assist residents with eating and drinking. Responsibilities include customer service, caregiving, resident safety and communication. What You’ll Bring POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, although mandatory in certain states. Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old, or the age required by state regulations, whichever is higher. Licensed Caregiver - LPN

The Opportunity The Licensed Caregiver – LPN/LVN is part of the Health & Wellness Team responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals. What You’ll Do Detail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, at end of shift Observe and report on residents’ health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing Supporting residents with medication. Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the community Toileting, incontinent care Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulse Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations, to identify and address resident needs promptly. Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations, established protocols and infection control practices. Responsibilities include customer service, safety, resident care, and communication. What You’ll Bring POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens. Demonstrates effective time management skills. High school graduate or equivalent. Current CPR certification. Maintain CEU requirements. Read, write, speak and understand the English language. Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.
