Key Responsibilities: Escort residents to and from clinic appointments. Arrive at work a half hour before the scheduled clinic visit to assist residents in preparing for their appointments. The salary range for the role is $64.8517 - $64.8517 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR). Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification. Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems. Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment. Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems. Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments. Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable. High School Diploma or equivalent, required. 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required. Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required. Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
